With 44 years in education—as a coach, principal, and district leader—Allen Painter brings practical, real-world experience to schools looking to strengthen leadership, improve instruction, and create systems that truly support students and teachers.

Throughout his career, Allen has served in a wide range of roles, including athletic coach, campus principal, and Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Curriculum. He was also the Founding Principal of Sheldon Early College High School, where he helped build a campus focused on college readiness and high expectations for all students.

Allen has led at both the campus and district level, giving him a unique ability to connect big-picture strategy with day-to-day classroom reality. His work has always centered on building strong teams, supporting teachers, and creating systems that lead to lasting improvement.

Even after retiring from public education, Allen continued serving students as a middle school teacher and most recently as Principal of Splendora High School, where he focused on strengthening school culture and driving student success.

Outside of Education

Allen and his wife, Jane, have been married for 44 years. Jane is a retired special education teacher, and together they enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. They have lived in the Atascocita area for nearly 30 years and love traveling and spending time outdoors.
